I started Down Under Teacher because I know the juggle: the late nights cutting, laminating, and prepping for hours and wishing there were more hours in the day. So, I started creating resources that were easy to use, fun for students and designed to save teachers time without sacrificing quality so teachers could spend less time planning and prepping and more time doing what they love – teaching (and maybe even finish their coffee while it’s still hot!).

When I’m not teaching or creating, you’ll probably find me hiking a trail, watching a good crime show, or jotting down ideas for my next resource. I’m endlessly inspired by the energy of young learners — and by the incredible teachers who dedicate so much to helping them grow.

Every resource I create is made with care, creativity, and a deep understanding of what it’s like to be in the classroom. Because teaching is hard work — but it should also be joyful, engaging, and full of those little “aha!” moments that make it all worthwhile.
